Do not be fooled by the latest movie, Angels & Demons, the sequel to the equally notorious movie, The Da Vinci Code. This movie is not innocuous towards the Catholic Faith the way the writer Dan Brown and director Ron Howard have tried to insinuate.
Bill Donahue from the Catholic League had made the correct evaluation that this movie is definately anti-Cathoic, which prompted Ron Howard the director of Angels and Demons to respond publicly to this accusation in the Huffington Post with his article, It's a Thriller, Not a Crusade. Dan Brown succinctly said, "It’s certainly not anti-Catholic."
The trouble is Ron Howard and Dan Brown are not being truthful.
How do we know that? A Catholic priest, Father Bernard O'Connor went incognito and spent two days with the Angels & Demon's film crew in Rome where something completely different was openly expressed.
A production official who spoke for the majority working on the film said that, "‘Like most of us, he [Brown] often says that he would do anything to demolish that detestable institution, the Catholic Church." He also credited the media for the 'demise' of the Catholic Church. It was also stated that the Catholic Church is, "humanity's chief enemy" and that he was reflecting the seniments of many in Hollywood. HT: Catholic League
As Bill Donahue simply puts it, "The cat's out of the bag."
Please get the word out if this comes up in conversation with anyone who is not aware just what the true objective of these movies is. People deserve to know the truth.
