Praying the Rosary ~ The Sorrowful Mysteries

This is the third post in a series of four for the month of the Holy Rosary. Unfortunately I didn't get this post or the one that is to follow it, done in the month of October. Then we were away for the whole of November. I was in and out of hospital for December and went into the New Year recovering from an operation. So I apologize for my disjointed posts for this series.

What I CAN say with that lapse of time, is that we are doing very, very well with the image slideshows during the rosary, it has been a hugh blessing for us as a family.

We find that when we are saying the evening rosary, the lounge room lights are turned off, candles or a lamp light the altar (and our statue of Our Lady) but with the lights off, there is no visual distractions for the children, just the altar ahead and the beautiful images.

I am just linking the previous two postings that explain how I created the slideshow:

Part 1 ~ Joyful Mysteries

Part 2 ~ Luminous Mysteries

~ THE AGONY IN THE GARDEN ~

~ THE SCOURGING AT THE PILLAR ~

~ THE CROWNING OF THORNS ~

~ THE CARRYING OF THE CROSS ~

~ THE CRUCIFIXION ~

The final part to this series will be up very soon.

Oh Anne this is beautiful !
You know I began my rosary again after so many months of not praying it .!
I began in Dec. just before Christmas . The sorrowful are my fav mysteries ( I'm sure that dosen't surprise You ) however my most special and fav mystery of all is the nativity ! It is because that was the one mystery I met Him at as a child so I have such a special place in my heart and who cannot meet the Child Jesus with an open heart , mind & soul with no fear !
I also have an idea for a special rosary I wish to write you about possibly making ☺
Love to You Anne
ps. I also have begun a ST.Anne novena I shall write you about
