Seventh Day of Petition Novena to St Anne

Novena to Saint Anne

Prayers to be prayed before the days' prayers:

O glorious St. Anne, you are filled with compassion for those who invoke you and with love for those who suffer! Heavily burdened with the weight of my troubles, I cast myself at your feet and humbly beg of you to take the present intention which I recommend to you in your special care. Please recommend it to your daughter, the Blessed Virgin Mary, and place it before the throne of Jesus, so that He may bring it to a happy issue. Continue to intercede for me until my request is granted. But, above all, obtain for me the grace one day to see my God face to face, and with you and Mary and all the saints to praise and bless Him for all eternity. Amen.

Pray 1 Our Father, and 1 Hail Mary
O Jesus, Holy Mary, St. Anne, help me now and at the hour of my death.
Good St. Anne, intercede for me.

SEVENTH DAY

Once again, Good St. Anne, I choose you for my advocate before the throne of God. By the power and grace that God has placed in you, extend to me your helping hand. Renew my mind and heart. Dear St. Anne, I have unbounded confidence in your prayers. To your blessed hands I entrust my soul, my body and all my hopes for this world and the next. Direct my actions according to your goodness and wisdom. I place myself under your motherly care. Receive me, good mother. Cover me with the mantle of your love. Look kindly on me. By your powerful intercession, may I obtain from God, grace and mercy. Obtain for me remission for my sin and release from the punishment my offenses have deserved. Pray that I may receive grace to lead a devote life on earth and that I may obtain the everlasting reward of heaven.

It looks as though we will be getting down to World Youth Day after all, so my postings for the next few days will be simple, just the novena prayers, like today. For anyone wishing to leave a comment asking to be placed in the draw for the St Anne Chaplet, feel free to do that, as I should have the opportunity to check in on the net each day for a short period.

Hello Anne! I'm not sure if you remember me, but I'm cfa83's daughter from the 4Real Forums. I finally got a blog of my own, so I thought I'd come over for a visit! I've been here before and loved it, but now I can comment. :)

I just want to say thanks for today's Tuesday With St. Anne. I never really noticed her that much; I guess you could say I leaned more toward her daughter, but I am fond of her and would occasionally breathe a prayer.

I found a quiet peace and meaning in your words about her, and as I said the prayer, I felt as if I had come home to my grandmother. The one I never really took the time to know. :)

So thank you, Anne. I really needed it. Last night was somewhat stressful, and I cried it all out and felt better. And then I came here and was soothed in spirit.

"O glorious St. Anne, you are filled with compassion for those who invoke you and with love for those who suffer! Heavily burdened with the weight of my troubles, I cast myself at your feet and humbly beg of you to take the present intention which I recommend to you in your special care."

I am somewhat heavily burdened, but found myself gently lifted up.

God Bless and thank you again!
