If you haven't already seen the photos of Voyage of the Dawn Treader movie set, pop on over and take a look after looking at these photos.
This has been built at the end of a very long, narrow strip of land, surrounded by the sea on eitherside, these photos were taken at low tide, so we could walk right around it.
I believe this is part of the set as well, looks like a lighthouse. (No, I have found out it isn't, it is always here and under renovation!)
Fantastic poop deck!
The workmanship on this boat is wonderful...
They have a mini grandstand set up for people to come and sit awhile to watch the daily building activities....
A lovely little feature..a golden fish.
Here you can see the Dawn Treader at the very end of the point, we are walking along a boat ramp, now have a look at the next photo...

Annie, what fun we all had here looking at your pictures! We are in the middle of listening to an audio book of The Voyage of the Dawn Treader (second time through for my littles...they LOVE this book!). Thanks for the great post, and you have brought a little bit of joy into our lives with your fun Dawn Treader blogs! God bless you and your family today, and may our Lady keep you close to Her Immaculate Heart!
Thank you so much for sharing your photos. As huge Narnia fans, we are very excited about this movie coming and really enjoyed seeing glimpses of it pre-production. Now we'll just have to muster up the patience to wait until it's released in the theaters.
Need to pull out my copy and reread! Your photos will make a great visual in my mind! Thanks!

Thank you! How many excellent photographs.
The ship - very beautiful. I am only a little troubled the bottom of the ship - it was flat. I want to know how the ship will stay in the water.

Eve, my great pleasure!
I loved looking at the photos. There are some great close ups. I am a local resident where it is being filmed and i thought i would let you know that the lighthouse is not part of the set. They have it covered as the local birds are chipping away at the paint and it is being fixed and repainted.
just saw the movie and was in awe of the architecture of the ship. needless to say i am obsessed with studying every detail. i have spent 2 hours downloading every pic and yours are by far the best I have. thanks so much.
